About the Client

The Client is a startup from the Netherlands focused on agritech innovation, developing advanced hardware and software solutions to enable data-driven farming. By combining cutting-edge sensor technology and weather stations with intuitive software, the company supports farmers worldwide in optimizing resource usage, improving yields, and increasing sustainability through actionable insights that drive agricultural efficiency and productivity.

Objective

The project was aimed at strengthening the Company’s digital infrastructure by enhancing both mobile and web applications, with a focus on delivering more precise, reliable, and actionable insights to end-users.

Solution

Our team worked on the following:

• Refactoring and Upgrading
  The existing codebase was carefully refactored and the Flutter application was upgraded from version 2.0 to 3.19, harnessing the latest features and optimizations.
• Feature Integration
  We integrated new functionalities based on the latest Figma designs and business rules, significantly enhancing the utility and user experience of the application.
• Monitoring Dashboard Development
  We developed a new static Single Page Application (SPA) web application using React (TypeScript). This dashboard uses react hooks and a custom REST interface for seamless data integration and manipulation, providing farmers with a powerful tool for data analysis and decision-making.

Result

The upgrades to the Flutter application resulted in improved performance, increased stability, and the introduction of enhanced functionality aligned with current business needs. The newly developed monitoring dashboard provides a centralized and efficient environment for data analysis, enabling users to better interpret and act on agricultural data.
