About the Client

The client is a product company, part of the Virgin Group corporation, that provides software and hardware development services in the wellness sphere to large corporations.

Objective

To develop and support a large online wellness platform and Android apps that will enable different companies to encourage their employees to lead a healthier and more enjoyable lives.

Solution

The platform includes a range of wellbeing programs that help employees gradually build healthy habits, which in turn enables organizations to reduce healthcare costs, increase workforce productivity, build a great corporate culture, etc.

Brief summary of the programs:

• Health management program - Identifies employees with health risks and delivers disease management programs and resources to help them improve their health;
• Program that amplifies corporate culture by connecting employees through teamwork, activity and healthy habits;
• A one-stop-shop that promotes the right programs for each employee and connects them to relevant programs, benefits, tools and information;
• Steps, active minutes, calories burned and sleep tracking;
• Ability to connect to a variety of wearable devices and apps for automatic tracking, etc.

The collaboration with the client started with the assignment of 3 Senior .NET developers. The main objective at the first stages was to learn the system and perform support tasks - minor changes and bug fixes. Later on, our team participated in the implementation of new modules, plug-ins, delivery reports, payment methods, etc.

Result

During the 9+ years of the collaboration, Altabel has been adapting flexibly to the dynamically changing requirements of the client, increasing and decreasing the team size within 3-12 technicians.
