Objective

To help develop a solution that could address the problem of the large amount of unstructured data in healthcare institutions, provide a secure communication environment for doctors, patients, medical students and others, and allow professionals to separate personal and professional communications while complying with GDPR and HIPAA regulations.

Solution

The solution, developed together with the Altabel's specialists, is an encrypted communication platform that offers two environments: a global community and private channels for licensed medical institutions. The global community allows an open exchange of information, while the private channels provide secure communication for specific healthcare organizations.

The platform also offers a range of specialized AI-based tools for doctors:

• News updates on medicine, science, and technology;
• Over 200 medical calculators;
• A comprehensive pharmacological guide that provides access to all information related to drugs, active ingredients, laboratories and more;
• 3D anatomy software that provides a dynamic and interactive view of the human body and its pathologies;
• A medical dictionary (Dicciomed) that answers any question about pathologies, diagnoses and treatments.

The platform features a digital card that serves as official identification for registered doctors, eliminating the need for physical cards. It stores professional documents such as CVs, diplomas and certificates, allowing doctors to manage their documentation digitally. Additionally, it facilitates direct communication between medical professionals and the administration, enabling health alerts and surveys.

The platform also includes a specialized healthcare AI-based search engine that analyzes scientific texts, generates concepts and makes inferences. It's powered by a vast database of millions of medical resources, including news, medicine references, research articles, clinical guides and more. This comprehensive tool provides healthcare professionals with instant access to quality information and answers about specific or rare conditions, helping to reduce mistakes and make doctors more agile and efficient. The platform is accessible via web browser, desktop app and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
