Objective

The Client was looking to quickly onboard a senior .NET developer with strong Blazor/Razor expertise to accelerate UI delivery for the simplified financial decision-making module and a few other supporting tasks.

Solution

In short, the platform is a web tool which combines modular design with customizable features to deliver advanced financial news and statistical analysis. It enables users to interpret market movements in real time, detect key events and evaluate potential risks.

The interface offers dashboards, filters, alerts, and simple charts so users can spot risk factors and trends quickly.

UI development by Altabel developer:

  • Implemented a library of reusable Blazor components (tables, cards, filters, forms, modals, detail panels)
  • Delivered core application screens:News feed with quick filters and search.Dashboard with key daily metrics and events.Risk and impact assessment views
  • Established state management and update logic to maintain responsiveness under high data volumes
  • Improved usability with features such as sorting, pagination, saved filters, user settings, clear empty states and meaningful error messages
  • Added unit tests for critical components and lightweight preview stories to accelerate UI reviews

Backend support:

  • Added and refined API endpoints to support new UI functionality
  • Built adapters and mappings between heterogeneous data sources and frontend-expected formats
  • Applied micro-optimizations, including query caching, query simplification and basic profiling
  • Increased reliability by improving edge case handling, implementing clearer error codes/messages, and extending logging

Collaboration process:

  • Shared planning via the project tracker, combined with short weekly syncs involving the CTO and PM
  • Code review established as mandatory for all meaningful changes, supported by a shared code style
  • Small, frequent releases prioritized to incorporate feedback early and minimize delivery risks

Result

Our engineer helped the client clear the accumulated backlog and significantly speed up delivery of UI features, while also stabilizing the application through targeted backend improvements. The MVP was completed to the client’s satisfaction, and with investor outreach now underway to support scaling, the client is preparing to expand the team again with Altabel.
