Customer

The Customer is an IT company providing an affordable and user-friendly hardware & software platform automating all technologies in a house, building or community.

Objective

To rebuild the existing mobile application for home control. The aim was to make it work faster, look more modern and add some new functionality. The technology of choice was React Native and the platforms targeted were iOS and Android. It was also decided to have mobile and tablet versions of the app.

Solution

We delivered a React Native mobile app for iOS and Android platforms that offers an easy way to use the interface to control your home.

Some of the basic functionality includes:

  • Creating a custom dashboard with your most used components and adding frequently used devices to your dashboard for easy access;
  • Turning off all your lights with just one touch when leaving your house;
  • Controlling all your room’s devices, thermostats and shutters in an intuitive way;
  • Searching devices by category which allows you for example to see all active outlets or all individual room thermostats of your entire house;
  • Changing the picture for the room and choosing the theme (light or dark one);
  • Multilanguage support.

The mobile apps were successfully delivered to Google Play and App Store. Our team continues to provide support for the application.

The Customer has also requested redesign and rebuilding of the web portal using Angular technology and our team has been working on it currently.
