Vitalis, the largest Scandinavian e-health event

Altabel`s business development managers Anna Kozik and Julia Govor have just visited Vitalis conference, the largest Scandinavian e-health event taking place on April 24-26, 2018.

This time Vitalis celebrated its 11th year gathering promising startups, SMBs, established enterprises and world-leaders in medical and IT industry to present e-health systems and solutions, which offer better and improved healthcare services for individuals and communities.

Vitalis has a unique integrated concept combining a solid conference programme with a comprehensive exhibition where key players of the eHealth market present their products and services. This year the event hosted about 180 exhibitors mostly from Sweden, Norway and Denmark, covering all aspects of eHealth and digitalization. Besides exhibition, Vitalis offered a vibrant MIE conference with ~200 seminars and masterclasses attracting more than 4500 participants all over the world and making it even more international.

On the exhibition floor we were happy to meet so many people relentlessly working strategically and operatively with business development and eHealth issues within healthcare and welfare. We also were lucky to see and try innovative e-health products like VR simulator from Atea, talk to the Microsoft`s AI robot and study Microsoft`s Hololens experience.

We also enjoyed our stay in Gothenburg. We lived very close to the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre which is located not far from the city centre, entangled by the good public transport network and having the airport shuttle bus stop directly near messe.

After busy days of the event we had a chance to wander around the narrow streets of Haga, taste delicious Swedish traditional cuisine, visit Scandinavia's largest science centre Universum and enjoy breathtaking sights of archipelagoes from Saltholmen peninsula.

To sum it up, it was a great experience visiting Svenska Massan in Goteborg. Vitalis is the place to be to get the latest news, make contacts and help shape opinion concerning the future of e-health and its latest trends. It is the event which is certainly not to be missed and we hope to have a chance to visit it next year!
