Our managers Helen Boyarchuk, Marina Karabanova and Anna Kopachova attended Viva Technology 2019, which took place on May 16-18 in Paris. This is the second time Altabel’s team visits this annual global meeting of leaders and startups being held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and probably not for the last time.

From top speakers and exhibitions to open innovation and live experiences, VivaTech is a celebration of today’s innovations and tomorrow’s possibilities for everyone who believes in the power of technology. This rendezvous provides a unique platform for professionals to do business and for the general public to check out new products and see how tech will impact the future.

The show floors and stages are literally bigger this year with 2 new venues and 124,000 visitors from 125 countries, with 13,000 startups, 3,300 investors and 2,500 journalists.

This year VivaTech 2019 addressed four major issues in the industry: Tech for Good (exploring the ways technology can have a positive impact on the economy, society and humanity), New Talent in the Spotlight (encouraging fresh talent recruitment), Women in Tech (partnering with more than 25 French and international organizations promoting gender parity), and United Tech of Europe (in the context of Brexit). In addition to the four themes, a lot of attention was paid to the facilitation of effective partnership between startups and corporates.

So for three packed days our managers had a perfect opportunity to discover tech start-ups that will conquer tomorrow' world, talk with participants, and discover products and innovations before everyone else.

All things considered, Viva Technology has surpassed all expectations and confirmed its standing as a must-see event on the international tech agenda.

And of course our managers not only enjoyed the conference itself but also couldn’t resist the temptation of making a selfie in front of la Tour Eiffel. Go easy on us :)
